Designed to allow end-users to identify issues with their MP3 files.

MP3 Diags diagnoses and repairs more than fifteen types of problems in MP3 files, from truncated or defective tags to lack of streaming support. It also removes data that has nothing to do with the songs and repairs VBR information.

To proceed with the diagnosis, you must first choose the folders where MP3 Diags will look for the audio files, as well as the path to save the backup copies (highly recommended) and the configuration file.

MP3 Diags displays the problematic songs in a table. Each failure is marked with a blue dot in the corresponding column. If you want to know its meaning, just hover the mouse pointer over a dot.

Repairs are launched from the hammer icon. Four extra icons are used to store customized fix lists. As additional tools, MP3 Diags has a tag editor and a volume normalizer.

The rather advanced MP3 Diags options panel allows you to precisely configure the program's behavior when repairing files and displaying lists.
